Armoured Vehicle Driver (Humanitarian Aid)

About the role

CTG, a staffing and HR solutions provider operating in 35 countries, is recruiting AV drivers in Dnipro for a 4-month assignment starting 1 March 2027. Drivers transport food and NFI cargo on humanitarian missions to Sumy, Kharkov, Poltava, Zaporizha, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kherson, Mariupol, Luhansk and Donetsk, taking part in UN-organised and secured convoys. The role reports directly to the Traffic Officer and involves no team management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform trips to the listed cities delivering humanitarian aid, including convoys to Mariupol, Luhansk, Kherson and Donetsk
• Drive safely and responsibly, reporting any accident immediately to the supervisor
• Travel only to authorised destinations and load only authorised cargo
• Drive either a 10-tonne truck or an AV minivan (Citroen/Rolls-Royce, armoured cockpit only), depending on operations needs
• Keep routes, turnaround times, fuel consumption and loading/unloading times within agreed parameters
• Maintain the vehicle in good mechanical condition and keep administrative documents (log books, waybills) accurate and up to date
• Report on time, sign the time sheet and hand over documents to the Traffic Officer

Required profile

• Valid category C driving licence (essential)
• 2-4 years of experience driving armoured vehicles and 16-tonne trucks, minibuses and soft-skinned vehicles (essential)
• 2-4 years of experience in Ukraine (desirable) and at least 2 years in Europe (essential)
• Fluent Ukrainian (essential); working-level English desirable
• Certificate in a relevant discipline; 2 years of transport experience desirable
