Senior Full Stack or Backend Developer (.NET & React)

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer or a strong Backend Developer to build and evolve a large-scale software platform used in open pit mining operations. The work is not internal tooling or maintenance: you will build new features in a modern, distributed system whose changes are deployed to live mine sites and used daily by operational teams. The position is remote, based in Ukraine.

Key responsibilities

• Join a cross-functional product squad delivering new capabilities for a complex operational platform supporting fleet and equipment workflows in open pit mining.
• Design and build backend services using C# and .NET in a microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Build modern React applications focused on clarity, performance and usability.
• Own features end to end, from design through to production deployment.
• Work closely with domain experts to turn complex operational problems into reliable software.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards and engineering best practice.
• Improve reliability, observability and performance in a mission-critical system.

Required profile

• Strong experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience designing and building microservices and event-driven systems.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with SQL Server.
• Comfortable owning APIs, service design and data models.
• English at B2 Upper Intermediate level.

Required skills

• Entity Framework or similar ORMs.
• React, with modern component libraries such as MUI, Mantine or shadcn.
• State management libraries such as Redux, Zustand or MobX.
• Nice to have: Docker and Kubernetes exposure, integration with C++, mining or industrial software experience, and experience with open pit mining systems.
