Head of User Acquisition

About the role

Ruby Labs is seeking a systematic Head of User Acquisition to own and scale paid acquisition for a core D2C subscription product. You will build a high‑ROI traffic operation, define strategy, manage budget, lead a team, and ensure consistent performance across paid channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own UA strategy across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat and Pinterest.
• Develop scalable processes, SOPs, testing frameworks and reporting systems.
• Set UA OKRs and KPIs for team and individual success.
• Manage and mentor a team of UA managers, handling hiring, onboarding and performance.
• Own budget management, ensuring efficient CAC and positive ROAS.
• Partner with data team to build advanced analytics and attribution models.
• Lead testing roadmap including A/B tests, geo‑expansion and creative iteration.
• Collaborate with product, creative and senior leadership to align UA with business goals.

Required profile

• 5+ years in performance marketing, focusing on D2C subscription products.
• Proven track record managing large paid budgets with clear ROI accountability.
• Experience building systems, SOPs and reporting structures.
• Direct management of a UA team of 3–5 professionals.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Deep platform knowledge: Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, Snapchat.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel and SQL.
