About the role
The WGSS Facilitation and Administrative Specialist supports the delivery of inclusive, survivor‑centered services through Women and Girls’ Safe Spaces (WGSS) in Ukraine. This role combines psychosocial support facilitation, GBV prevention, curriculum implementation, and administrative coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Design, plan and lead group‑based psychosocial support and empowerment sessions using IRC curricula such as Girl Shine, Women Rise, and the GBV Prevention Toolkit.
- Adapt content for diverse participants, including displaced persons, survivors of GBV, and persons with disabilities.
- Integrate digital tools (messaging apps, KoBo Toolbox, Google Workspace) to enhance outreach, feedback collection and coordination.
- Maintain and update WGSS activity plans in collaboration with the WPE team and protection staff.
- Facilitate GBV awareness‑raising sessions, safety planning and rights education.
- Organise community campaigns (e.g., 16 Days of Activism) with local women‑led groups and IRC protection teams.
- Disseminate IEC materials in accessible formats and engage stakeholders to identify priority topics.
Required profile
- Fluency in Ukrainian.
- Experience facilitating psychosocial support or empowerment groups.
- Knowledge of gender‑based violence (GBV) prevention and protection principles.
- Ability to coordinate administrative and logistical tasks for community programmes.
