Travel Counselor (Remote)

About the role

Amex GBT is hiring a Travel Counselor to join its remote team and serve corporate business clients. The role advises and arranges travel for individuals and groups, and covers domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail and accommodation. It is part of CWT, a member of the American Express Global Business Travel family.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers, both individuals and groups
• Analyse and research travel options and proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services
• Book domestic and international business travel of varying complexity for air, road, rail and accommodation
• Use the Amadeus GDS and ensure compliance with customer travel policies, service provider policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide positive telephone service and handle special customer requests
• Collaborate with the team to coach, mentor and give constructive feedback to improve service levels

Required profile

• Passion for excellence in client service, including anticipating needs proactively
• Strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel or airline reservations)
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently, with or without the supplier
• Teamwork and openness to feedback

Required skills

• Native-level GDS expertise (Amadeus)
• Professional written and spoken English and Ukrainian
• Attention to detail and integrity in handling personal traveler information
