Service Desk Engineer

About the role

Clario, a consumer-focused company building simple apps for better productivity, security and lifestyle, is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to provide internal IT support to its employees. The role is hybrid and based in Kyiv, Ukraine. You will work with Windows and macOS, computer and network hardware, corporate IT services and access management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees on-site and remotely.
• Log, categorize, prioritize and resolve support requests using a ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with Windows and macOS operating systems, software and hardware.
• Install, configure and update operating systems and corporate software.
• Set up workstations, laptops, monitors, docking stations and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and configure Wi-Fi, Ethernet and VPN connections.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions within the scope of the Service Desk.
• Support onboarding and offboarding, and keep accurate equipment records and inventory.
• Escalate complex incidents to other IT teams and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation, able to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Effective communication with users and eagerness to learn and grow.
• English at B1 level or higher.
• Nice to have: at least 1 year of experience in Service Desk, Help Desk or IT Support.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and basic hands-on macOS experience.
• Computer hardware diagnosis and networking basics (TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, IPv4, subnetting).
• Basic Microsoft Active Directory and user account administration.
• Nice to have: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Intune or Jamf, Linux/Unix or scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
