Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Huzzle connects global talent with international technology companies in the UK, US, Europe, Canada and the Middle East. It is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure automation, cloud platform reliability and deployment scalability for its clients. The role suits someone with deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation and platform engineering, working remotely with flexible hours and overlap with UK, UAE and US teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure environments.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for high-frequency deployments.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration environments.
• Build Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and automation best practices.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability and observability.
• Monitor production systems with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or similar tools.
• Implement security, backup and disaster recovery best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and deployment issues across environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on release management and platform optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and share DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of networking, security, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in remote environments.

Required skills

• Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or ArgoCD
• Scripting in Python, Go, Bash or JavaScript
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog or ELK Stack
• Nice to have: GitOps and ArgoCD, enterprise SaaS support, certifications in AWS/Azure/Kubernetes/Terraform
