HRIS Specialist

About the role

Watu is looking for an HRIS Specialist based in Kyiv, Ukraine, working remotely and reporting to the HR Systems Manager. The specialist ensures the effective adoption, configuration and use of HR systems within their scope, acting as the regional owner and point of contact for HRIS processes, data accuracy, compliance and user adoption, while collaborating with the HR Systems Manager and admins. The role focuses on regional execution, process harmonization and compliance across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain HRIS processes aligned with global standards and regional requirements, monitor system adoption and performance, and support regional and end-market HR teams with queries and issues
• Identify regional opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Keep employee data accurate and up to date, generate regional dashboards and reports for business and HR leadership, and run regular audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with local laws and internal policies
• Ensure regional HR processes comply with local labour laws and internal HRIS policies, and act as liaison between the region, the HR Systems Manager, admins and the Head of HR
• Be the first point of contact for regional HR teams, train and guide them on system usage and workflows, and support change management during system updates and rollouts
• Partner with the HR Systems Manager to standardize processes across markets and give input on system upgrades, enhancements and new features

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
• 3+ years in HRIS or HR technology roles within multinational or multi-market organizations
• Experience in regional system adoption and cross-market project support

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with HiBob, JazzHR or similar HRIS platforms
• Knowledge of HR processes, local compliance requirements and global reporting standards
• Analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
