Senior Full Stack AI-first SaaS Engineer

About the role

5Blue Software is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer for an AI-first B2B SaaS platform that helps organizations simplify security, compliance and AI governance. The platform automates manual processes such as evidence collection, monitoring, audit preparation and certification workflows. You will join a lean, international engineering team distributed across Europe, Israel and South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deliver full-stack features end to end using React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Develop intuitive, performant and scalable frontend experiences and implement backend services, APIs, business logic and third-party integrations.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered product features, and use AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code in daily work while reviewing and improving AI-generated code.
• Take part in system design and architectural decisions, and work with Engineering and Product on requirements and technical solutions.
• Own the CI/CD and DevOps aspects of the features you build, and take part in Agile ceremonies with a distributed team.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly in English.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience; roughly 5+ years with Node.js is a guide, not a hard line.
• 2+ years of professional experience with React.
• Strong spoken English, able to hold real-time technical conversations such as system design discussions.
• A background from a product or SaaS company rather than a project-based agency; experience in security, compliance, GRC or developer-tools SaaS is a natural fit.

Required skills

• Strong TypeScript and hands-on experience with Express, Fastify or a similar API framework.
• Production experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP or Azure, and with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience integrating third-party REST APIs and shipping AI-powered features in a live product.
• Working proficiency in DevOps, QA and CI/CD at a senior level.
• Nice to have: LangChain/LangGraph, Python, Docker/Kubernetes, a CS degree, and a track record as the front-end champion on a full-stack team.
