Senior Accountant – Remote (Ukraine)

About the role

Our finance team drives accounting integrity, reporting accuracy, and cross‑border compliance across international entities. The Senior Accountant will execute general‑ledger accounting, month‑end close, and support statutory reporting in a multi‑entity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute general ledger accounting and month‑end close workflows within SAP across multi‑entity setups.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations, maintaining flawless reporting integrity.
• Prepare statutory financial statements for Cyprus entities under IFRS and support consolidated US GAAP reporting.
• Oversee revenue recognition compliance for customer contracts, deferred revenue schedules, and digital revenue streams.
• Manage accounting in payroll, indirect tax and intercompany areas; support transfer‑pricing calculations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, facilitating data requests and audit execution.
• Drive continuous process improvements, controllership initiatives, and SAP workflow automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in progressive accounting or financial reporting within a multi‑entity international corporate structure.
• Practical proficiency in both US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and statutory financial statement preparation.
• Proven track record of managing multi‑currency account reconciliations, month‑end closing procedures, and audit coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English for global stakeholder collaboration.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP or similar enterprise‑level accounting software.
