Senior Accountant – Remote (Ukraine)

About the role

We are looking for a senior accountant to join Depositphotos’ finance team, supporting our global operations from Ukraine. The role focuses on end‑to‑end accounting, reporting and compliance across multiple entities and currencies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute general ledger accounting and month‑end close workflows within SAP across multi‑entity setups.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations, maintaining flawless reporting integrity.
• Prepare statutory financial statements for Cyprus entities under IFRS while supporting consolidated US GAAP reporting requirements.
• Oversee revenue recognition compliance for customer contracts, deferred revenue schedules, and digital revenue streams.
• Manage accounting in payroll, indirect tax and intercompany areas.
• Support the global transfer pricing team with relevant calculations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, facilitating data requests and ensuring seamless audit execution.
• Drive continuous process improvements, controllership initiatives, and SAP workflow automation to support enterprise growth.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in progressive accounting or financial reporting within a multi‑entity international corporate structure.
• Practical proficiency in both US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards as well as statutory financial statement preparation.
• Proven track record of managing multi‑currency account reconciliations, month‑end closing procedures, and audit coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English for effective global stakeholder collaboration and auditor interaction.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP or similar enterprise‑level accounting software.
