Creative Performance Design Lead

About the role

Ruby Labs is seeking a systems‑driven Creative Performance Design Lead to own and scale the delivery standards for motion and static ad creative supporting a core D2C subscription product. You will be responsible for quality, speed, and efficiency, translating performance data into concrete creative direction while managing the production stack and AI‑assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce quality standards for motion and static creative through review and coaching.
• Own the team’s delivery speed, ensuring rapid movement from brief to launch.
• Scale creative output without increasing headcount by building reusable systems and templates.
• Maintain and evolve the production stack, incorporating AI‑assisted creative workflows.
• Translate performance metrics (CTR, CVR, CPA) into actionable creative direction and oversee localization QA across markets.

Required profile

• 3+ years designing motion and static formats with a proven track record in performance‑driven creative.
• 2+ years leading a design or creative team in a fast‑growing startup or scale‑up, building processes as the team expands.
• Demonstrated ability to train and lead others on AI‑assisted creative workflows and to roll up sleeves when critical work is needed.

Required skills

• Hands‑on fluency with motion design tools.
• Proficiency in static design tools.
• Experience with AI‑assisted creative workflow tools.
