Channel Sales Manager – Solar Inverter & BESS

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead the sales strategy for our solar inverter and battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio. The role focuses on expanding market presence through a network of distributors, resellers and system integrators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share for solar inverter/BESS products.
• Identify, recruit and manage a network of distributors, resellers and system integrators.
• Provide technical and sales training to channel partners on our inverter product line.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales tactics.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by managing the sales pipeline effectively.
• Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and materials for partners.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences.
• Report regularly on sales performance, market insights and partner activities.
• Work with product development to relay market feedback and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in solar inverter or related solar energy product sales.
• Proven track record in building and managing successful sales channels.
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, especially inverter technology.
• Excellent understanding of solar market regulations and incentives.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of solar PV systems and inverter technology.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
