Commercial Director

About the role

We are a fast‑growing international FinTech company seeking an experienced Commercial Director to own commercial performance, strengthen sales capabilities, and build scalable revenue‑generating processes across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Take ownership of revenue targets, driving growth through direct sales, business development, partnerships and existing client expansion.
• Build, structure and scale commercial teams and sales processes, creating a predictable B2B pipeline in international markets.
• Establish commercial KPIs, forecasting models and reporting frameworks; introduce pipeline management and performance review processes.
• Lead negotiations with key clients, merchants, partners, payment providers and other strategic stakeholders.
• Identify new markets, customer segments, verticals and sales channels; develop and strengthen strategic partnerships.
• Analyze sales performance, conversion rates and revenue trends, implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Support teams.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in B2B sales, business development and revenue management, preferably within FinTech or payments.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands‑on execution mindset.
• Track record of building and leading high‑performing commercial teams.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage key strategic relationships.
• Data‑driven approach to analysing commercial performance and driving improvements.
