Senior IT Recruiter

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior IT Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team and lead the search for top engineering talent across Latin America. You will partner closely with hiring managers, design innovative sourcing strategies, and drive hiring decisions for demanding technical positions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, from market research and manager briefings to offer acceptance.
• Proactively source candidates for hard‑to‑fill engineering vacancies using platforms, communities, referrals and market insights.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify needs, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and recommend optimal hiring paths.
• Facilitate interviews and assess candidates on technical depth, motivation, communication and cultural fit.
• Maintain a fast, transparent and respectful candidate experience.
• Analyze recruitment metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion rates and refine the hiring process.
• Explore AI‑driven tools, automation and creative sourcing techniques to accelerate engagement.
• Stay up‑to‑date on technology trends, talent market movements and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience for software engineering and technical positions in an international setting.
• Proven ability to engage hard‑to‑reach technical candidates through multiple channels.
• Strong interview skills with the capacity to evaluate beyond the CV.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and using data‑driven insights to guide decisions.
• Fluent English (B2 or higher) with excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of modern tech stacks: Java, JavaScript.NET, DevOps, Cloud, QA, Data.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT for sourcing and productivity.
• Practical use of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms and structured hiring workflows.
