Senior Information Management Associate

About the role

The Senior Information Management Associate will lead the design, development and maintenance of databases and information systems supporting MSDL and TRU activities. The role combines technical data management, GIS visualisation and reporting to ensure high‑quality information for programme monitoring and advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and administer databases and information systems for MSDL and TRU activities, defining structures, fields and workflows.
• Build automated data‑processing and reporting workflows using SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, SPSS and GIS.
• Perform data cleaning, validation and quality‑assurance to ensure consistency and reliability across information systems.
• Design, test and maintain digital data‑collection tools on KOBO Toolbox and similar platforms.
• Produce reports, dashboards, maps and visualisations using Excel, Power BI, SPSS and GIS for operational, monitoring and communication needs.
• Monitor data‑integrity, confidentiality and compliance with data‑protection standards.
• Provide technical support and capacity‑building to field teams and implementing partners on data‑collection tools and information‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, IT, Computer Science, GIS or related field with at least four years of relevant experience, or a high‑school diploma with six years of experience.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English (oral and written).
• Proven experience developing digital data‑collection tools, conducting data quality checks and maintaining databases.
• Experience with UN or international organisations and cash‑based programmes is an advantage.
