Senior CRO Manager

About the role

Ruby Labs is seeking a hands‑on Senior CRO Manager to drive conversion growth for a core D2C subscription product. You will own the end‑to‑end A/B testing pipeline, work closely with data, product, and engineering teams, and be rewarded directly for performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the A/B test backlog from hypothesis generation to launch, prioritising ideas by impact, confidence, and effort.
• Analyse the funnel in Mixpanel to uncover drop‑offs, friction points, and segment‑specific opportunities across devices and locales.
• Interpret test results with statistical rigour, separate winners from noise, and deliver clear verdicts for sign‑off.
• Write detailed test specifications and perform QA on variants before and after launch.
• Produce conversion‑focused copy and layout variants while staying within compliance constraints.
• Document every test in Notion, including hypothesis, setup, results, and learnings, and contribute to regular experimentation reporting.
• Mentor a junior CRO specialist on test design, analysis, and documentation standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience running A/B tests on D2C subscription or consumer web products with measurable outcomes.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Mixpanel (or equivalent) for funnel building, segmentation, and cohort analysis.
• Strong understanding of statistical significance, power, sample size, and common pitfalls such as peeking.
• Experience with feature‑flag or A/B testing platforms like GrowthBook or Statsig.
• Ability to craft conversion‑oriented copy grounded in behavioural psychology.
• Active daily use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) to accelerate concept, analysis, and prototyping.
• High personal standards, continuous learning mindset, and clear written communication in a remote, async environment.
