Performance Marketing Lead – Google & Microsoft Ads

About the role

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Lead (Google & Microsoft Ads) to lead and scale advertising across the Ruby Labs portfolio. This senior player‑coach role will own Google Ads and Microsoft Ads execution, coach acquisition managers, set standards, improve performance and protect account health across multiple brands.

Key responsibilities

• Scale profitable spend across Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube and Microsoft Ads for multiple brands, geos and languages.
• Conduct regular account audits to identify gaps, missed opportunities and scaling potential.
• Partner with Managing Directors and UA Managers to translate brand targets into practical execution.
• Define and enforce standards for account architecture, naming, conversion tracking, bidding and reporting.
• Own policy and compliance processes, handling disapprovals, appeals and escalation with Google and Microsoft.
• Develop and maintain an AI‑first knowledge base in Claude, including playbooks, SOPs and automated workflows.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on paid search experience, including large Google Ads budgets ($5M+ per month).
• Proven experience coaching, hiring and leading Google Ads or paid‑search teams.
• Strong understanding of subscription economics such as LTV, CAC, ROAS and payback windows.
• Deep knowledge of Google Ads policy, disapprovals and compliance‑heavy environments.
• Experience managing multi‑brand, multi‑country paid‑search portfolios.
