Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Technician

About the role

Redwire Corporation is looking for a skilled Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join its Kyiv team. You will ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of a variety of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) through systematic inspection, repair, and continuous support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on UAVs, including disassembly, assembly, and inspection.
• Diagnose technical faults, replace defective mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, and conduct post‑incident structural repairs.
• Install firmware, software updates, and system upgrades for UAV platforms and related equipment.
• Repair composite airframe components and conduct mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Support pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections, diagnostics, and system testing.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare‑parts inventory.
• Ensure workshop tools are in proper condition and comply with safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Technical education (vocational, college or Bachelor’s degree) in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in UAV maintenance, aviation, electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel for missions and work outside regular hours when needed.
