UAV Technician / Service Engineer (Ukraine)

About the role

Neros UA is seeking a Service Engineer / UAV Technician to support operations in Ukraine. The role involves hands‑on assembly, modification, testing and repair of FPV drones and UAV systems, working closely with local engineering and mission teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair, and modify FPV drones, UAV systems, test articles, and R&D prototypes according to engineering instructions and user requirements.
• Perform soldering, wiring, connector maintenance, cable work, continuity checks and basic electrical diagnostics.
• Assist engineers with prototype integration, component installation, test preparation and troubleshooting during development cycles.
• Support flight tests by preparing equipment, managing batteries and tools, setting up test areas and providing technical ground support.
• Maintain an organized workshop, manage tools and consumables, and control R&D inventory and field equipment.
• Follow technical instructions, record modifications and issues, and help create repeatable service and modification processes with consistent quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year of hands‑on experience with electronics, UAVs, FPV drones, robotics, RC systems or similar hardware repair.
• Practical soldering experience with small components, wiring and connectors.
• Basic diagnostic abilities such as continuity testing, connector inspection, overheating or vibration detection and structured troubleshooting.
• Ability to assemble and maintain electromechanical systems using hand and bench tools following technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to build quality, repeatability and safe handling of equipment.
• Organized, responsible and comfortable working in a workshop, lab and field testing environment.
• Self‑directed with a desire to learn and grow into deeper UAV systems and engineering work.
