Test Engineer

About the role

Flex is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, implement and continuously improve testing procedures for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). The role supports product quality by analysing test data, troubleshooting failures and ensuring test equipment accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and refine PCBA test procedures.
• Analyze test results, identify root‑cause issues and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in risk assessments when changes to testing processes are introduced.
• Manage procurement and inventory of spare parts for test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and team managers on testing strategies.
• Support internal audits related to testing activities.
• Evaluate and report on the accuracy and performance of test equipment.

Required profile

• Higher technical education (engineering or related field).
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, including statistical analysis, variation studies and sampling.
• Experience working with technical documentation for electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Hands‑on experience with test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes and other instruments.
• Good understanding of electronic components and circuit operation.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and able to work in a multitasking environment.
• Basic proficiency in a high‑level programming language.
• English language proficiency at A2 level or higher.
