Software Developer – Network Monitoring & Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join an international project focused on network infrastructure. You will design, build, and maintain software that powers network monitoring, management and equipment integration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network monitoring and management (NMS/EMS) software.
• Build modules for collecting and processing telemetry data from network equipment.
• Integrate with hardware and network elements using protocols such as SNMP, NETCONF/YANG and REST APIs.
• Contribute to the architecture of distributed, scalable and fault‑tolerant systems.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with network engineering teams to align software features with network requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience (Python, Go, C++ or Java).
• Hands‑on experience with network protocols (SNMP, NETCONF) and solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Knowledge of distributed systems principles.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Linux proficiency; containerisation experience (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Telecom or networking background is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to obtain a security clearance if required.
