Rehabilitation Expert

About the role

The Rehabilitation Expert will support the strengthening of paediatric rehabilitation services across ten health facilities in Ukraine. Working from the Kyiv office and travelling frequently to project sites, you will collaborate with master trainers, centres of excellence, UNICEF and international technical partners to improve service quality and continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct capacity‑building workshops and on‑site mentorship for rehabilitation staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of multidisciplinary rehabilitation pathways.
• Support data collection, monitoring and reporting on service performance.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange between local centres of excellence and international partners.
• Provide technical guidance to caregivers and rehabilitation supervisors.

Required profile

• Professional background in paediatric rehabilitation, physiotherapy or a related health discipline.
• Experience working in conflict‑affected or low‑resource settings.
• Ability to travel regularly across Ukraine and work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is an advantage.
