QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for web, mobile and API applications. The role combines hands‑on coding, test strategy, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, clean automation scripts and frameworks for web and mobile platforms.
• Design BDD scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin where applicable.
• Execute functional, regression and integration tests, and optimise test suites.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve testing bottlenecks and defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, DevOps and analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously improve QA practices and adopt emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with a strong focus on test automation and mobile testing.
• Hands‑on experience with Java or TypeScript and automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO or Playwright.
• Proficiency with Appium, Android Studio, Xcode and device farms like SauceLabs or BrowserStack.
• Experience in API testing and BDD techniques using Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Good understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows.
