Junior Recruiting Specialist – Ukraine (Full‑time, Kyiv)

About the role

The Junior Recruiting Specialist will join GIZ’s TR‑EECCA team in Kyiv, supporting the acquisition and implementation portfolio across Eastern Partnership and Central Asian countries. The role focuses on sourcing and hiring Non‑Key Experts (NKE) for projects such as the EU‑funded Ukraine and Moldova Infrastructure Technical Assistance Facility (UMITAF).

Key responsibilities

• Conduct active sourcing, database searches and online research to identify suitable Non‑Key Experts for specific projects.
• Guide candidates through the full recruitment cycle, from initial contact to hand‑over to the contract team.
• Maintain and expand the internal Expert Management System and external expert networks.
• Evaluate CVs, organize interviews and support the selection and contracting process.
• Develop sector‑specific pools of non‑key experts for future opportunities.
• Screen potential experts, keep regular contact, and support expert evaluation for targeted profiles.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in international development and HR recruitment.
• Experience or academic background in talent acquisition, HR, or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
