Investment Analyst – Multi-Family Office

About the role

A multi-family office serving Ukrainian high-net-worth individuals is looking for a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join its investment team. The office manages an investment portfolio and invests in financial markets globally. The role supports portfolio management, investment research, identification and analysis of opportunities in public and private markets, financial modelling and investment presentations, and other research materials. It is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Research investment opportunities across public equities, fixed income, private equity, private credit, hedge funds, private/public infrastructure and other asset classes
• Analyse fund strategies, documentation, marketing presentations and factsheets to identify opportunities fitting the investment strategy
• Evaluate fund operators' track record, strategy, operational structure and risk management
• Prepare investment appraisal documents and monitor macroeconomic developments and financial markets
• Perform calculations and modelling on derivative instruments, and prepare financial models and investment presentations
• Carry out sectoral research and prepare monthly reporting statements for selected client portfolios
• Support semi-annual and annual portfolio reviews, and prepare monthly factsheets and brief reports on alternative investments
• Handle ad-hoc tasks

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Investments or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in Big 4, investment banking or another relevant financial background
• Fluent English
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in a small, high-performance team

• Excel and financial modelling
• Capital markets and alternative investments knowledge
• Financial modelling and valuation, investment research and due diligence
• ACCA or CFA is a benefit
