Fleet Assistant/Driver

About the role

World Vision is seeking a reliable Fleet Assistant/Driver to provide safe transportation for staff, visitors and partners in Dnipro. The role includes driving, vehicle maintenance, documentation, and occasional generator operation to support office and field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transport for staff, visitors, consultants and partners; transport light cargo, documents and office supplies.
• Meet and assist visitors at airports, train stations and other arrival points.
• Follow approved travel routes, security procedures and monitor road, weather and security conditions, reporting any risks.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, ensure cleanliness and roadworthiness, and monitor fuel, oil, coolant, tire pressure, battery and other operational requirements.
• Coordinate routine servicing, preventive maintenance, repairs and report mechanical issues or accidents.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage, fuel consumption and maintenance records; ensure registration, insurance and inspection certificates are current.
• Assist in accident reporting and insurance claim processes as needed.
• Operate the office generator, monitor fuel levels, perform routine inspections and coordinate maintenance.
• Deliver and collect documents, parcels and official correspondence; provide basic translation and communication support when required.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Strong attention to safety, security procedures and confidentiality.
• Good organizational skills to keep accurate logs and documentation.
• Proficiency in English and ability to provide basic translation support.
• Flexibility to support field missions and respond to urgent transport needs.
• Physical ability to handle light cargo and operate generator equipment.
