Construction Manager – Electrical Balance of Plant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Balance of Plant (E‑BOP) Construction Manager to lead the electrical works for a 120 MW wind farm in the Odessa Region, Ukraine. The role involves overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of high‑voltage substations, collector systems, fiber‑optic networks and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all E‑BOP construction activities in line with approved designs, specifications and project schedules.
• Manage the construction of the 110/35 kV substation, 35 kV collector system, fiber‑optic communication network and 110 kV overhead line.
• Monitor subcontractors for safety, quality, productivity and schedule compliance.
• Handle interfaces between civil works, turbine installation, grid connection and commissioning.
• Resolve technical clashes, participate in design reviews and ensure construction readiness of work fronts.
• Support commissioning, including testing of substation, protection, SCADA and fiber‑optic systems.
• Promote a zero‑harm safety culture and conduct regular site safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and support mechanical completion and handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in HV/MV electrical construction projects.
• At least 3 years in a Construction Manager or Site Manager position.
• Proven experience with high‑voltage substations (110 kV+), medium‑voltage cable systems and overhead lines.
