Commercial & Contract Manager – EPC Wind Farm Project

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial & Contract Manager to lead the contractual and claims management of a 120 MW wind farm EPC project in the Odessa region. The role ensures the contractor’s rights are protected, manages subcontractor obligations, and supports the project’s financial performance throughout construction.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the EPC contract and all subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with notice provisions.
• Monitor project financial performance, support cost forecasting, and prepare commercial reports.
• Identify, negotiate, and register variations; maintain a Variation Register.
• Prepare and defend claims for Extension of Time, additional costs, and delay damages.
• Collaborate with the Planning Manager to assess entitlement for EOT, disruption, and acceleration claims.
• Manage interfaces with the Employer, Owner’s Engineer, WTG supplier, authorities, and subcontractors to mitigate contractual risks.
• Draft formal contractual notices and preserve correspondence for future claims.
• Review payment applications, verify entitlement, and track variation values.
• Assist in dispute avoidance and resolution, coordinating with internal and external legal counsel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in EPC contract administration, claims preparation, and variation management.
• Strong understanding of wind energy project interfaces and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
