Assistant of Legal Department

About the role

MGID is seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to support its Legal Department in Kyiv. This junior‑level position offers the chance to develop practical skills in contract management, legal documentation, and internal processes while working closely with experienced lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support, including translations, document formatting, and coordination of internal requests.
• Prepare basic legal drafts, template‑based documents, simple amendments, and powers of attorney under lawyer supervision.
• Assist with contract approval and signing processes: create approval requests, track comments, prepare documents for signature, monitor signing status, and upload signed files to relevant systems.
• Maintain templates, contract repositories, trackers, and internal legal databases to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Track contract statuses, renewal/expiration dates, responsible owners, and approval histories.
• Identify and flag basic legal or documentation risks arising from contract management and administrative operations.

Required profile

• Junior legal professional with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow supervision guidelines.
• Interest in developing expertise in contract lifecycle management.
