About the role

The WASH Program Manager will provide overall managerial and technical support to all WASH projects in the South Area Office. The role is responsible for planning, implementing and ensuring high‑quality delivery of WASH activities across communities, health‑care facilities, schools and institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall managerial and technical support to all WASH projects in the South Area Office.
• Plan and implement WASH activities across communities, health‑care facilities, schools and institutions.
• Coordinate with the programme implementation team to ensure high‑quality delivery and integration.
• Represent the organization to WASH partners and participate in sub‑cluster and national coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with other sector staff and field teams to promote programmatic integration and advocacy.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities and respond to emergencies as required.
• Monitor and report on project performance and compliance with donor requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, institutions and schools to support WASH initiatives.
