Sustainability & Environmental Manager - Ukraine

About the role

CKH, a boutique accounting and financial services firm with offices in Ukraine among others, is looking for a Sustainability & Environmental Manager to lead and coordinate its environmental and sustainability activities. The role works closely with departments and external stakeholders, monitors regulatory developments, coordinates projects and supports sustainability reporting and data management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate environmental and sustainability activities, following up on agreed objectives and initiatives.
• Monitor environmental and sustainability legislation, regulations and standards, and assess their impact on the business.
• Lead and coordinate sustainability and environmental projects across departments, with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Collect, analyse and consolidate environmental and sustainability data to support reporting, KPIs, management information and disclosures.
• Oversee the preparation of sustainability reports, documentation and management information.
• Act as a key point of contact, giving guidance and practical recommendations to colleagues and management.
• Coordinate internal awareness and training initiatives and manage relationships with consultants, suppliers, auditors and authorities.
• Keep the company informed about industry developments and best practices.

Required profile

• Master's degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in sustainability, environmental management, environmental sciences, climate, engineering, business or a related field, or comparable qualifications.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in environmental management, sustainability, ESG, regulatory compliance, corporate sustainability or environmental consulting.
• Good understanding of environmental and sustainability regulations and standards.
• Experience managing sustainability projects and working with environmental data, reporting and KPIs.
• Fluent English; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.

• Strong analytical skills and confidence with data; Excel is mentioned as a useful tool.
