Test Pilot

About the role

We are looking for a Test Pilot to fly R&D UAV platforms equipped with our AI, conduct rigorous trials and decide if they are ready for combat deployment. The role combines high‑level flight expertise with the ability to codify testing standards for mass‑production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate UAV or drone platforms that integrate Occam’s AI on live test flights.
• Design, execute and document structured test criteria, identifying failure modes.
• Provide clear feedback to engineering teams to drive fixes and improvements.
• Collaborate with OEMs to embed test and quality‑assurance processes into their production lines.
• Ensure that platforms meeting R&D standards are replicated at scale.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on flight testing experience with UAV or drone platforms.
• Ability to design and run structured test plans, not just fly by feel.
• Comfort working closely with engineering to translate results into fixes.
• Experience or aptitude for advising OEMs on production‑level QA processes.
• Willingness to work in a hands‑on, non‑desk environment.
• Bilingual English/Ukrainian is a plus but not required.
