Protection (GBV) Assistant – Dnipro

About the role

The Protection (GBV) Assistant will support activities aimed at preventing and responding to gender‑based violence, raising awareness of services, and promoting prevention strategies within targeted communities in Dnipro.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and implement mobile GBV activities in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate access to high‑quality services for GBV survivors, including medical care, mental health support and financial assistance.
• Provide survivor‑centred case management, needs assessments, basic counselling and develop safety plans.
• Ensure proper documentation, safe data management and compliance with information‑sharing protocols.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of the needs of women and girls and participate in case review meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with an international NGO.
• University degree.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English proficiency at A1 level or above.
• Good computer literacy and confident use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Long‑term fixed‑term contract after a three‑month probation period, subject to funding availability.
