Production Engineering Manager – Wing

About the role

Boeing Ukraine is seeking a Production Engineering Manager to lead the Wing production engineering team in Kyiv. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex engineering projects while serving as the primary customer liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, directing all phases and acting as the main customer contact.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Implement policies, set operational goals, and acquire resources for projects.
• Coordinate operational aspects of ongoing projects, liaising with finance, sourcing, and scheduling.
• Maintain relationships with customers, partners, and direct reports.
• Manage technical and functional staff assigned to the project.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Track and report project status, health, and progress against the approved business case.
• Prepare progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Run project meetings from kickoff through post‑implementation review.

Required profile

• At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager) or completion of Boeing’s “Exploring Leadership” course.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
• Legal right to work in Ukraine.
• Extensive project management experience.
