About the role

The Operations Department is seeking a proactive Mechanic to perform repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of plant facilities. You will work under general supervision, contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring equipment operates within manufacturer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs on fixtures and equipment.
• Oversee installation, relocation, and re‑installation of new or existing machinery.
• Maintain and repair production support air compressors, air dryers, and vacuum systems.
• Conduct simple engineering calculations for proposed equipment.
• Update mechanical drawings when changes occur.
• Maintain air‑conditioning and ventilation equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Submit proposals for upgrades or changes to the department supervisor.
• Keep accurate maintenance records for each piece of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and conduct periodic inspections to determine required maintenance.
• Follow preventive‑maintenance instructions and document all activities.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of hands‑on maintenance experience or demonstrated equivalent skills.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies.
