Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for tactical planning and execution of the Master Production Schedule, ensuring that capacity, resources, and inventory levels meet agreed demand plans. The role serves internal and external customers by guaranteeing the timely availability of shipping items and overseeing life‑cycle projects across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and manage the Master Production Schedule for a 4‑24 month horizon, aligning capacity and resources with demand.
• Maintain clear visibility of supply plans for customers, monitor delivery commitments, and manage backlogs and backorders.
• Coordinate life‑cycle projects (launches, changes, transfers, divestments) with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, GMP, SOP, HSE, and Code of Conduct requirements.
• Optimize supply‑chain service, processes, and cost while leading a high‑performing local team.
• Implement and support ERP/SAP processes, train users, and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee logistics, warehouse, and distribution activities, ensuring adherence to customs and trade regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain planning, logistics, or operations management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and GMP compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and drive process improvements.
