Junior Software Engineer (Java, Spring, Cloud-native)

About the role

Levi9 is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join a fast‑moving team that builds a digital advertising platform for a leading Western European media group. You will work on a cloud‑native product that is already in production and continuously evolve its features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cloud‑native system using Java and Spring technologies.
• Collaborate with Java, frontend and DevOps engineers to make strategic and tactical technical decisions.
• Communicate regularly with the Product Owner, UX Designer and external team representatives to ensure seamless integration with third‑party services.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment processes.

Required profile

• At least 1.5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 11+ and the Spring ecosystem (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot).
• Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs and message‑based communication.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and SQL.
• Good command of English and solid communication skills.
