Fixed Assets Accountant – UA&EECA

About the role

We are seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant to manage the accounting of tangible and intangible assets across the UA&EECA region. The role ensures accurate recording, depreciation, and compliance with IFRS, local and tax requirements while supporting CAPEX projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting of tangible and intangible fixed assets, including creation, changes, transfers and disposals.
• Calculate and control depreciation in line with corporate, local and tax accounting standards.
• Create and release WBS elements for CAPEX projects related to fixed assets.
• Review and approve purchase orders for asset acquisition or modification.
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations, accrual clearing and BPC reconciliation.
• Account for lease agreements under IFRS 16, handling right‑of‑use assets and lease liabilities.
• Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, local legislation and tax rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Controlling.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical, numerical skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP (advantageous).
• Knowledge of IFRS standards, including IFRS 16.
