Financial Crime Analyst

About the role

PwC Lviv is seeking a Financial Crime Analyst to join its Financial Crime Unit (FCU). You will support international projects, working closely with colleagues in Poland and global financial institutions to ensure compliance with AML, CTF, KYC and related regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain customer profiles and case documentation.
• Conduct research using internal and external sources.
• Collect, analyse, and validate customer information and supporting documentation.
• Identify potential risks, adverse findings, and financial‑crime red flags.
• Draw conclusions and recommend next steps based on investigation results.
• Escalate adverse findings to Quality Analysts, SMEs, and Team Leaders when required.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver high‑quality work within agreed deadlines and performance targets.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Interest or experience in AML, CTF, KYC, compliance, risk management, or financial‑crime prevention.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• English proficiency at B2+ level (written and spoken).
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or a related field.
