Field Enumerator – Monitoring and Data Collection

About the role

CTG is recruiting Field Enumerators to support field-based monitoring and data collection across several humanitarian programmes in Ukraine, including construction-related activities, non-food item distributions, health activities, multipurpose cash assistance and other interventions. There are 25 vacancies across multiple locations, lasting one month, starting 1 January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Identify appropriate respondents and information sources according to approved monitoring tools
• Carry out interviews, observations and verification visits following agreed methodologies
• Enter collected data accurately into approved data collection systems or templates
• Check completed questionnaires for basic quality before submission
• Follow data protection, confidentiality and informed consent requirements
• Comply with staff standards of conduct, PSEA and accountability principles, and safeguard equipment and information
• Report to the direct supervisor

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of experience (social sciences, law, international relations or development studies preferred)
• At least 2-3 years of data collection and information management experience, preferably in conflict and natural disaster situations
• At least 2-4 years of experience in Ukraine
• Fluent Ukrainian (essential); working-level English desirable
• Ability to work independently under challenging field conditions
• Candidates selected must update their data at the military centre and/or hold an exemption from conscription form, otherwise they are disqualified

Required skills

• Experience with mobile data collection tools such as ODK or Kobo is desirable
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection, and with focus group discussions, is an asset
