Driver – Safe Transportation for IRC

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a reliable driver to ensure safe and efficient transportation of staff and materials in Mykolaiv. You will be responsible for vehicle care, compliance with IRC policies, and supporting the organization’s humanitarian mission.

Key responsibilities

• Safe and efficient transportation of IRC staff and materials.
• Care and maintenance of IRC vehicles and accessories.
• Professional representation of IRC and strict adherence to vehicle rules, including mandatory seatbelt use.
• Daily vehicle inspections and accurate completion of the vehicle logbook.
• Keeping vehicles clean, fueled, and mechanically sound; inspecting and servicing accessories.
• Reporting any defects, insurance renewals, or issues to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Complete secondary education; vocational or technical education preferred.
• Minimum two years of professional driving experience, confident with manual transmission vehicles.
• Valid Category B driver’s license with no significant traffic violations.
• Basic English proficiency and ability to pass IRC manual transmission driving test.
• Basic computer skills.
