Driver for CP Team

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a reliable driver to support its CP team in Ukraine. You will be responsible for transporting staff, visitors, documents and goods safely and efficiently while representing the organization professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for IRC personnel and materials.
• Maintain and care for IRC vehicles, including routine checks, cleaning, fueling and mechanical upkeep.
• Ensure accurate completion of vehicle log sheets and adherence to IRC vehicle policies.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle accessories and report any issues to the Fleet Manager.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of local road rules and regulations.
• Experience with 4x4 and manual‑gear vehicles.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with HF, VHF and satellite communications equipment or willingness to learn quickly.
• Team spirit, problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently on limited tasks.
• Valid driving licence, minimum two years professional driving experience and a clean road‑safety record.
