Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, Ukraine)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team supporting the project, working within an Alibaba Cloud environment. The role focuses on enabling secure, scalable, and reliable platform operations through infrastructure automation, CI/CD, environment management, and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Use, write, and update reusable IaC in Terraform.
• Administer and optimize Alibaba Cloud services such as Web Apps, Function Compute, and Key Management Service (KMS).
• Manage and optimize Message Queue and Alibaba Cloud Logic Apps.
• Use, write, and update Alibaba Cloud DevOps pipelines (mostly YAML pipelines).
• Monitor running environments in Alibaba Cloud and make adjustments when needed.
• Take care of releases (STG, PRD) and improve the deployment process.
• Act as a key contributor in the DevOps Chapter, participating in initiatives and voting on changes.
• Troubleshoot and assist development teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience working with Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD using Alibaba Cloud DevOps.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with Terraform.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.
