Supply Chain Officer (for nationals only)

About the role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Officer ensures efficient, compliant and timely procurement of goods and services for the Save the Children SAO Area Office, while also managing the organisation’s assets. The role aligns procurement activities with SCI global policies, donor requirements and best‑practice standards to deliver value for money and support programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Procure goods and services in an efficient, compliant and timely manner, adhering to SCI global policies, donor requirements and best‑practice standards.
• Manage organisational assets through accurate registration, continuous tracking, regular maintenance and comprehensive reporting to ensure full accountability.
• Support effective sourcing, tendering and contract management processes to achieve value for money and facilitate programme delivery.
• Prepare and contribute to supply chain reporting, analysis and documentation to inform decision‑making.
• Provide operational support to other logistics functions, including Warehouse and Fleet operations, as required.
