Instructional Designer – Remote, $60k/year

About the role

2 Hour Learning is looking for an Instructional Designer who will turn student data into actionable insights and deliver high‑trust coaching to accelerate learning. You will work remotely, bridging analytics and direct student interaction to ensure timely interventions and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze student performance data and create clear, actionable academic reports.
• Own academic outcomes for an assigned group of K‑8 students, including placement, testing decisions, and follow‑up actions.
• Run rapid rescue sessions to diagnose root causes of learning blockers and resolve them in real time.
• Conduct post‑test coaching to differentiate knowledge gaps from careless mistakes and assign targeted next steps.
• Collaborate with academic leaders and parent support teams to escalate risks and improve tools or processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a coaching, instructional, or training role with documented outcomes.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on work with K‑8 students (tutoring alone does not qualify).
• Experience in data‑driven education, EdTech, or student support roles that combine analysis and interpersonal work.
• Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly with students and parents.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (lookups, filters, pivot tables, charts).
• Proven use of AI for data analysis or workflow automation.
