Academic Intervention Specialist – Remote (2 Hour Learning)

About the role

This remote position supports the 2 Hour Learning model by turning fragmented student data into decisive, fast‑acting interventions. You will work directly with K‑8 students, providing on‑the‑spot coaching that removes learning obstacles and accelerates progress.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze student performance data to create actionable academic reports.
• Own academic outcomes for an assigned cohort, including placement decisions and testing strategies.
• Deliver rapid, diagnostic support sessions that identify and resolve learning gaps.
• Lead post‑assessment coaching conversations to differentiate conceptual misunderstandings from procedural errors.
• Collaborate with academic leadership and parent engagement teams to flag emerging risks and improve tools or processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of coaching, instructional, or training experience with documented results.
• At least 1 year of sustained experience working directly with K‑8 students.
• Background in data science, education, EdTech, or student services.
