Zuora Billing & Revenue Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Zuora Billing & Revenue Specialist on a contract basis to own and expand a live Zuora environment as the business scales. You will design pricing models, product catalogs, and revenue rules while serving as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex billing and revenue recognition issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy new pricing models, product catalogs, and revenue rules in Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue without disrupting existing operations.
• Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex billing, rating, and revenue recognition issues.
• Translate finance and controllership requirements, including ASC 606 and IFRS 15, into technical Zuora configurations.
• Ensure seamless data flow and integration between Zuora and enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or SAP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across billing, revenue, integrations, and system architecture.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue in production environments.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical finance stakeholders.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
• CPA or formal accounting background is a plus.
