ULAC Consortium Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a senior professional to lead day‑to‑day management of the Ukraine Life‑Saving Assistance Consortium (ULAC). Based in Kyiv, the Coordinator will ensure a coherent consortium framework, oversee implementation planning, and support donor engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily consortium coordination, maintaining a consolidated view of progress, priorities, constraints and emerging gaps across partner organizations.
• Develop and maintain the consortium implementation plan, tracking milestones, responsibilities, sequencing and dependencies.
• Monitor partner performance against deliverables, facilitate corrective actions, and coordinate problem‑solving with clear documentation of owners and deadlines.
• Support governance by preparing performance, risk and decision information for IRC and donor forums, and track decisions and escalations.
• Maintain visibility of programmatic, operational, fiduciary, safeguarding and compliance risks, ensuring timely escalation and integration of finance and MEAL inputs.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in international development, humanitarian affairs or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive humanitarian program management, with substantial experience coordinating multi‑partner responses.
• Proven ability to influence and coordinate across organizations without direct line authority.
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, problem‑solving and senior stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; Ukrainian language skills highly desirable; experience in Ukraine or similar conflict‑affected contexts preferred.
