Test Data Engineer (automotive)

About the role

Intellias is looking for a Test Data Engineer to support a long‑term test infrastructure programme in the automotive and connected‑car domain. You will create and manage online‑capable vehicle identities (VINs) and reference configurations, ensuring high‑quality test data for the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage online‑capable VINs in backend systems for all vehicle generations and platforms.
• Maintain reference configurations per generation, platform and start‑up, tailored to project needs.
• Generate test data using the provided tool chain, create test users and securely provide access data.
• Maintain a comprehensive test‑data overview with full documentation.
• Perform data quality management and upkeep of asset/reference configuration databases.
• Deliver services in a ticket‑based, process‑oriented manner.

Required profile

• Completed degree or training in (business) informatics or a comparable field.
• Experience in test data management or data maintenance within complex system landscapes.
• Confident use of Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of automotive/connected‑car technology and architecture.
• Independent, diligent and reliable work style with good written and spoken German and English.
